How the lessons run online
Lessons take place on Google Meet, alongside an online whiteboard website.
- Google Meet: booking sends you a video call link by email, and the lesson is added straight to the calendar. Nothing to set up on the day.
- Online whiteboard: Phil and your pupil work through problems together on a shared whiteboard, so the pupil writes the working and Phil can see exactly where it goes wrong.
- Lesson notes: everything written in the lesson can be downloaded afterwards, so your pupil has their own notes to revise from.

Drawing on years of experience teaching Maths across multiple exam boards, Phil has developed an in-depth understanding of each specification, the assessment criteria, and the methods examiners reward.
Every lesson is tailored to the individual pupil. Rather than following a fixed programme, sessions are planned around the areas where support is needed most, with clear explanations, targeted practice and effective exam technique to help build confidence and improve performance.

How do I book a lesson?
Use the Book a lesson button, pick one or more times that suit you, and pay securely by card. You receive a confirmation email straight away with your Google Meet link.
Can we talk before I book?
Yes. Phil offers a free 15-minute call to discuss your needs first. Email him to arrange it.
Which courses do you teach?
All of them - GCSE (AQA, Edexcel, OCR), IGCSE (Pearson Edexcel 4MA1, Cambridge 0580 and 0980), and Additional Maths (Cambridge 0606), at every tier.
Can I book more than one lesson?
Yes. You can select up to eight times in one booking and pay for them together - weekly, occasional, or an intensive block ahead of exams.
How much notice do I need to give to book?
Lessons that start before 12:00 (UK time) need to be booked at least 12 hours ahead, and lessons from 12:00 onwards at least 6 hours ahead. You can book up to two months in advance.
How do I cancel or change a lesson?
Email Phil at least 24 hours before the lesson for a full refund or to move it to another time. Lessons cancelled with less notice, and no-shows, are not refunded. The full details are in the booking terms.
I'm outside the UK - can I still book a lesson?
Yes - lessons are online and the booking page shows times in your own time zone. Payment is by card in pounds sterling.
