What we collect

If you use Revision Workshop as a guest, we don't collect any personal data — your exam board and tier choice are stored only in a cookie on your own device, and your practice isn't saved anywhere.

If you create a free account, we store your email address, display name, exam board and tier, and (for teachers) your school name. We also store your practice history — which questions you've attempted, your answers, and the marks awarded — so we can show your progress and pick up where you left off.

Pupils who join a teacher's class share their practice history and progress with that teacher, so the teacher can see class-wide performance and misconception reports.

How we use it

We use your data to run the service: signing you in, saving your progress, marking your answers, showing teachers their class's results, and improving the question bank and marking engine. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.

Where it's stored

Account and practice data is stored with Supabase, our database provider. Reasonable technical measures are used to keep it secure, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

You can update your display name and password at any time from your account page. To request a copy of your data, or to have your account and all associated data deleted, contact us using the details below — we'll action the request within 30 days.

Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember a guest's board/tier choice. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.
