RRevision Workshop

About Revision Workshop

Revision Workshop is a self-marking GCSE Maths practice site built on one idea: revision should tell you exactly where you went wrong, not just whether you got the mark.

What's in the question bank

Every question is authored against the real specification for AQA, Pearson Edexcel, and OCR — with the actual spec reference behind it, not a guess. Content spans all six GCSE Maths strands (number, algebra, ratio & proportion, geometry, probability, and statistics) across grade bands from grade 1 up to grade 9, on both Foundation and Higher tiers, calculator and non-calculator.

How the marking works

Pupils type their working and final answer into one free-text box, the same way they'd write on paper. The marking engine scans for evidence of each mark-scheme criterion, awards partial credit where it's due, and — where the answer is wrong — checks it against a bank of known misconceptions so the feedback names the actual mistake (a sign error, the wrong formula, a rounding slip) instead of just saying "incorrect".

Who it's for

Pupils can practise any topic for free, any time. Teachers can set up a class, share a join code, assign tasks or timed assessments to exactly the topics they're teaching, and see a class-wide misconception report instead of a single average mark.
